Player properties

Turn any shell into a player property. Owners can customize their own copy of it, while the original shell stays untouched for everyone else.

• Choose per shell what players may do: build layouts, decorate, or restyle

• Limit how big players can build

• Optional pricing: players pay for what they add, using your server's economy

• Owners open the editor right inside their home

• Admins can view, open and reset every player's home from the shell list

Ownership is handled by your housing script through kq_link, so it fits right into your existing setup. Player customization works with the following housing systems:

Custom props

The Shell Creator comes with 18 floor textures, 13 wall textures, multiple lights, stairs, windows and many more props to allow for the ultimate creativity when creating new shells. All props are under 12mb! Meaning that your players will not have to download tens of megabytes for each shell

Does this really work with any housing script?

Yes! Shells created using our Shell Creator will work with any Housing script which utilizes IPLs or Shells (or both)! 

Additionally its not exclusive to housing scripts. As you can easily use these with any other scripts such as garages or jobs, want to use it without any addon scripts? Simply use our teleporter options to instantly setup teleporters to your custom shells to allow players to go inside them

How about a gritty gang hideout with scuffed walls and broken ceilings? Easy. Maybe you’re after a custom tuner garage, or even a restaurant concealing a cocaine lab in the basement. Whatever wild idea you have in mind, Shell Creator has the textures, colors, and layout options to make it happen; no coding required.

Flexible Permissions

The full permissions system is public. Meaning that you can set it up exactly however you want. Admin tool by default, can easily be adapted to work as anything you'd like.

A creator that feels good to use

A clean, modern interface with a searchable shell list, thumbnails, keybind hints and a theme you can restyle to match your server. Pick textures straight off any surface, undo and redo freely, and enjoy satisfying feedback on every placement. Even large shells open smoothly.

Custom textures

Add up to 100 unique custom textures to use in the Shell Creator. Simply drag and drop them into the resource and start using them immediately

Housings with deep integrations

Currently vms_housing has an official integration with the Shell Creator. Shells created with the Shell Creator get automatically imported into vms_housing without the need of touching any config files.

Optimization

The shells are stored in the database in a highly compressed and optimized manner to save on storage as well as Network traffic. Furthermore the shells are dynamically spawned and despawned when needed. The script runs at a near constant 0.00-0.01ms when not actively editing a Shell. This ensures server and client stability as well as prevents any entity limits from being reached
